This is really sad. This cat should never been allowed to return home in such a sedated state. Having worked in an all cat practice, I can tell you that the your cat should have been supervised recovering until no symptoms of sedation or dissocation were present. The cat can be a threat to itself in that state.
no perhaps in your practice there were rules against sending cat homes like this but that is not necessarily common practice as long as this cat is supervised it can do no harm to itself or anyone else
Agreed. I’m no vet, but as long as the cat is supervised, it’ll be fine. There appeared to be 2 people in the room with it. That’s more than enough supervision.
by supervision i take it you mean grabbing the camera and keeping a distance?
Actually It’s fine bringing the cat home where its used to be.
It will help it calm down and wouldn’t be scared of falling asleep.
This does in no way harm the cat in anyway if you bring it with you home and allows it to calm down and get some sleep.
so he was sedated AND drunk… ?!
