I’m Russian and I can tell you this is a classic in Russia. And a pretty serious and cruel one.
Nevertheless, nice captioning. If I couldn’t understand the actual words, I think I’d find it funny :)

ruffox

my apologies…

btw, show ur boobs now

Russias answer to The Beatles?

dimon1408

Absolutely not.
1) It’s not a band
2) This is an absolutely different type of rock.

Petrea

I’m Russian as well, but I disagree with Sashka. This song is an ABSOLUTE classic, by the legendary Vladimir Vysodsky, who passed away in the 80’s, and for me, to hear one of his songs so defaned is completely insulting and disgusting. Sashka, how can you even call yourself Russian after saying that this was ‘funny’?

Fxengineer

I tell you what, you Tofulate an Elvis video and we’ll call it even.

dimon1408

Petrea, I agree with you as well. Being Russian, it kinda hurts to see this done to an amazing song, so I rated this a -1. The captioning is pretty crap, either – only a few words actually go together with what is heard.

Nice job on the captioning! BTW Doesn’t this guy look just a tad like Paul Simon from Simon and Garfunkel? Maybe he’s an older brother who stayed behind in Russia when the Simonovs immigrated to the U S..??? haha
